- Rinse green beans.
- Tear off ends.
- Place in pot of rapidly boiling water. Begin 3 minute timer.
- Keep pot on high heat, and cover pot.
- When 3 minutes is up, remove green beans from boiling water, and place in ice water.
- Let green beans cool in ice water for 3 minutes.
- Put beans in freezer bags, mark with date, and put in freezer.
